Our Home

Salt Lake City, Utah

We were married in Salt Lake City and spent our first five married years there. We loved living close to family members in a beautiful city that has so much personality and access to our favorite outdoor activities. We love skiing in the winter, biking in the summer, and hiking in our favorite canyons. Lindsey's family has a cabin in the mountains where we love to spend many of our weekends. The only thing Salt Lake City is missing is a beach for Scott to surf!

We purchased our first home in an outgoing and kid-friendly neighborhood that we love, surrounded by supportive neighbors and friends. With three parks within walking distance and fun local shops, we take a lot of walks and bike rides as a family. We love the easy access to the zoo, museums, and family.

Minneapolis, Minnesota

We rented out our house while relocating to Minneapolis for a job opportunity for Scott. While we missed our home and loved ones, we enjoyed a new adventure and change. Minneapolis is an exciting city! We had a lot of fun canoeing and paddleboarding on the many lakes and playing with the kids on the beaches. Within minutes of our house we could access splash pads and parks. Beautiful green trails connect the city-- making for great bike rides and running. We survived a Midwest winter (brrrrrr!) and made some good friends. We felt very lucky to be there and knew that our family would grow closer together through the experience.

Salt Lake City, Utah

We are now back home in Salt Lake City, and we love it. We bought a house just four blocks from our old house--we loved the neighborhood too much to go any further! We are so happy to be back and among so many people we love. We have had so much fun riding bikes around our neighborhood, spending time at the park, going to storytime at the library, mountain biking, skiing, and hiking a ton as a family.

We love walking to school, greeting our friends and neighbors every day. Peter has been able to play on a neighborhood soccer team, basketball team, and take piano lessons. Brooklyn has been able to take dance and do a tumbling class. Both kids love school. And we have loved doing art camps and swim lessons in the summer.

The decision to move back to Salt Lake was an easy one; it is home for so many reasons. Our puppy joined our family about a year after we moved back, and we brought our twins home from the NICU to this home. We hope to see our family continue to grow here.
